في طريق الموسوعه لتكون اكبر مصدر علي الانترنت لتوثيق التعاون العسكري الاسرائيلي التركي لا يمكننا ان نغفل واحد من اهم مشاريع التعاون الاسرائيليه التركيه لذلك سيتم تخصيص هذا الجزء بكامله لدره الصورايخ الاسرائيليه في وقتها المتميز بوباي

بدأ الامر في صفقه تطوير طائرات الفانتوم التي اشرنا اليها في الجزء الاول من الموسوعه

اسرائيل تبدء تسليم 40 صاروخ بوباي بمدي 150 كم كمرحله اولي يليها 60 صاروخ العام القادم

Israel will deliver at least 40 150 kilometer-range Popeye missiles to Turkey this year under a $40 million deal while the second package will include 60 missiles for 1998By Metehan Demir / Turkish Daily News
Ankara - Israel is to start the delivery of 40 air-to-air precision guided Popeye I missiles to Turkey from now until the end of this year, the Turkish Daily News has learned.

In the first stage, Israel will deliver at least 40 150 kilometer-range Popeye missiles to Turkey until the end of 1997 under a nearly $40 million deal while the second package will include 60 missiles for next year. The whole package is expected to reach a cost of $100 million. Thus, the Turkish Air Force will strengthen its air power, according to a Turkish official.

Following the Israeli Chief of General Staff Lt Gen. Amnon Lipkin Shahak's visit to Turkey last week, both countries' defense officials agreed to accelerate the process of the agreement between the two that foresees the sale of numerous Popeye missiles to Turkey.
في زياره رئيس الاركان الاسرائيلي اللي انقره الاسبوع الماضي اتفق مسئولوين الدفاع في البلدين علي تسريع الاتفاقيات بين البلدين لتحقق بيع عدد غير محدد من البوباي الي تركيا
A defense source said that precision guided air-to-air Popeye I missiles can be used on Turkey's F-16s and F-4s adding that if the necessary ground launching equipment is provided the missiles can also be used for air-to-surface purposes in addition to the current air-to-air capability.Popeye II after Popeye I

Earlier, the two countries also agreed in principle to the joint production of hundreds of Popeye II missiles this year. An agreement is expected in the short term to jointly produce the 150 kilometer-range Popeye II missile, which is an advanced model of the Popeye I. MIKES will produce data-links for the missiles while another Turkish firm, Roketsan, will produce the ignition system and components and Israel's Rafael is planned to provide the transfer of technology.

Under the terms of the $500 million deal, a consortium between Israel and Turkey is planned to be established, involving the Turkish firms MIKES and Roketsan and Israel's Rafael. The first Popeye II is expected to be delivered in the next two-and-a-half years. Meanwhile, a Turkish delegation consisting of experts from Roketsan and MIKES is expected to fly to Israel in coming months for the Popeye II program.

The missiles are also being used by the U.S. Air Force and its maximum target deviation is around 10 meters.

By the end of the Turkish F-4's upgrade program which is being carried out in the Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) facilities in Tel Aviv, all of the Turkish F-4s in the refit program will be equipped with Popeye I and II capabilities.

The defense links between Turkey and Israel were launched with a military training cooperation agreement signed in February 1996. The second agreement came in August 1996 with a defense industry cooperation deal. The growing ties between the two countries have been drawing strong reactions from Arab countries.

Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Itzhak Mordechai is also expected to visit Turkey in late October or early November, according to Turkish military sources.

In terms of the manufacture of the missile a major business breakthrough took place in 1997 when Israel and Turkey signed a commercial agreement worth $ 500 million for the joint production of the Popeye and Popeye Turbo missiles by the Turkish Aerospace Industries plants.

الطفره في الاعمال بالنسبه للصاروخ جائت في 1997 حينما وقعت اسرائيل و تركيا اتفاق تجاري بقيمه 500 مليون دولار للتصنيع المشترك لبوباي و بوباي تيربو بواسطه Turkish Aerospace Industries plants.

المثير ان بعد التعاون بين رافاييل و روكتيسان اصبحت روكتيسان من اكبر مصنعي الصواريخ في تركيا و لديها اصدارات عديده من الصورايخ

المثير ايضا انه بعد 5 مواضيع الان من هذه السلسه و تناول العلاقات الاسرائيليه التركيه في جميع الاسلحه من دبابات و طائرات و طائرات بدون طيار و مدرعات و غيرهم الكثير مازال الكثيرين يتوهمون في تركيا لكن هنا نحن مجرد نوثق حقائق انما تغيير الاراء ليس هو الهدف
